Happy Dance.

There's this little girl who sometimes comes into No Frills. She's an absolute cutie, but what I noticed first about her was her voice. It was quiet, I was working, then all of a sudden I could hear this small, but ecstatic voice, saying 'HAPPY DANCE!' about every 15 seconds. I looked over. She was doing this airplane jump type of move. She was in her own world. It wasn't like she'd just gotten anything, she was just happy. She was hilarious, but she was also entirely sincere. I loved it. I think that's what we're moving towards. Joy. Joy in the midst of a failing world. Joy in Him who has given all. Ridiculously contagious joy! His love lived out! We've been cutting off so many different things, moving towards wholeness and the freedom of obedience - both which are only real and true and lasting in Him; One day, that'll hit us squarely in the soul and we'll just happy dance! We've been redeemed... it's time to live it... to live out a faith like that. To be for God! Be for Him that is all that is worthy. Here are some of my favourite verses, in crazy fonts (for fun factor reasons!):

Psalm 84:11-12
"For Jehovah God is a sun and a shield: Jehovah will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly. O Jehovah of hosts, Blessed is the man that trusteth in thee."

Psalm 118:24
"This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it."

Psalm 126:1-3
"When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like those who dreamed. Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Then it was said among the nations, 'The Lord has done great things for them.' The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy."
